Online Therapy
All therapy sessions are conducted via zoom or by telephone
Why Choose Online Therapy?
Traditionally, in-person therapy has been the preferred choice for many individuals seeking support. However, COVID-19 restrictions brought a whole new realm of opportunity and accessibility through online therapy, enabling people to safely and effectively continue their therapeutic journey. But, the question remains: Is online therapy as successful?
Based on my experience, the answer is a resounding yes. In fact, I have observed that the rates of improvement and recovery for clients have increased significantly with online therapy.
My experience of offering online sessions means that I can offer you greater flexibility and the comfort of attending sessions at home without travel time, parking or childcare issues. It allows for a safer and more relaxed experience for you to be in your familiar setting and as a therapist it gives me a better understanding of you in your home environment.

Scientific Evidence
Recent evidence-based studies highlighted in Psychology Today suggest that online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) may surpass in-person therapy in effectively alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Fees
If you decide to work with me, I will send you a copy of my Therapy Terms and Conditions to read and sign. This includes information about confidentiality and data storage, risk, payment information and cancellation policy.
Payments should be paid by BACS bank transfer within 48 hours of the appointment.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
This will differ on a case-by-case basis. National Institute of Excellence (NICE) guidance recommends between 12 and 20 sessions depending on the type of disorder and its severity. You may not need this many. We will talk about this in our initial session together.
Also in our initial treatment session, we will explore the issues that have brought you to therapy and start to look at possible triggers and build what we call a formulation, or pattern, of the vicious cycle that you are stuck in. We will talk about how CBT can help, and what sort of tools we can use and start to identify some therapy goals together.
Therapy progress is reviewed regularly.
If you feel during the first session that this is not suitable for your needs there is no obligation to book any further sessions.
